How to use TechTride calculators
Start with the calculator that matches the record in front of you. If
you have an unused PTO balance, estimate payout or balance first. If
you are reviewing a final check, use the final paycheck calculator
after gathering hours worked, overtime, PTO, vacation, bonuses,
reimbursements, withholding, and deductions.
If your balance is shown in days or weeks, convert it to hours before
estimating value. If you are not sure whether payout applies, read the
state-law hub and your employer policy before treating a number as
expected pay.
What to verify before relying on an estimate
A useful estimate starts with current records. Check your latest pay
stub, HR portal balance, handbook, PTO or vacation policy, final
paycheck policy, and any written HR response. State rules can also
affect earned vacation, PTO payout, sick leave, rollover, and final
wage timing.
TechTride keeps the math simple so you can spot questions faster:
which balance was used, which pay rate was applied, whether the leave
type is payable, and what deductions explain the difference between
gross and net pay.
